Genre: Dirty South Gangsta Rap
Condition: New (Factory Sealed)
Straight outta Texas, Ghetto Joe may be dropping his debut album with "Ghetto Anthem", but he's no newcomer to the game. Joe has been grinding hard, doing local shows and working with independent artists for years, and anyone who has tried to do their thing in the rap game independently knows that it ain't easy. It's taken a lot of hard work and time, but with the skills that he has as a graphic artist, producer/DJ, writer, and of course, an MC, Joe has so much talent in his arsenal that he's destined for greatness. Having done everything on his own, without the backing of a major record label or big-time producers that charge a million bucks for a beat, Joe has managed to create a debut album that sounds every bit as hot as any record on the radio, and he's also managed to keep the rugged, raw, street sound that has been lost in the game since the days of NWA and the Geto Boys. Just the fact that Ghetto Joe has gotten names like MC Eiht, Scarface, C-Bo and Devin The Dude to guest on his independent debut album shows that he's got respect in the game, because artists like those don't just throw around their verses for weak music and it won't matter if you can afford them or not if they don't respect the product that their names and voices are going to be appearing on. If you want a real hardcore, independent, thuggish street album that brings back the days or REAL gangsta rap, don't sleep on "Ghetto Anthem"!
