New York's finest is back at it again, with another street album that's so high-quality in every way that it puts most retail albums being released by other artists these days to shame. Papoose doesn't take the game lightly and he doesn't have any intention of coming out weak, whether it be on a mixtape or a retail album, he says his fans will never be disappointed.
"Nothing is worse that getting excited about copping your favorite artist's new album, going to the store, puttin' your $20 hard-earned cash on the counter, getting home and poppin' it in your stereo, and suddenly realizing that you just bought $20 worth of garbage. Sure, artists nowadays love to make 1 or 2 really hot tracks to smother you with on the radio and convince you that you need to go and buy the album, but what about the other 14 or 15 tracks on the disc? Too many artists in the game are fake, phony, con-artists trying to milk the public for their cash without giving anything in return. All these artists think they can make one or two bangers and then load the rest of their album with pure filler that nobody will ever listen to. The game needs more real MCs that take their art seriously. When I bought Pac's "All Eyez On Me" I loved every damn track so much I felt like sending Pac another $20 bucks cause he didn't charge enough for it. There was so much quantity on "Eyez" and so much quality, you just don't see artists bringing that level or artistry anymore. Same thing with Wu-Tang's "Forever" double disc album, it was a masterpiece from beginning to end. These new cats need to go back and listen to some of these albums and take notes on what it takes to be a great artist, cause one or two good tracks on a $20 album ain't it."
Papoose ain't all talk either, when he drops a street album it bangs harder than most of the retail albums in the store, and he doesn't make any money off the street albums so it's all for his fans. "Build or Destroy" is probably the dopest mixtape in the last decade, it's got 26 wicked tracks, featuring beatz produced by a jaw-dropping list of today's dopest producers, such as J Swift, Pete Rock, Sha Money XL, KaySlay, E-Dubb, JR Rotem, and several others. If you want the best CD your money can buy, and you wanna know what a real MC is made of, cop "Build or Destroy" and get yourself a dose of Papoose, the realest n*gga in the game today! This CD has been Out Of Print since 2008, so it's extremely rare to find an official copy in mint condition, get yours right here right now!
